2027 SMCCCD Construction Contractor Prequalification Program NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that San Mateo County Community College District (hereinafter "District") at 3401 CSM Drive San Mateo, County of San Mateo, State of California, 94402, acting through its Governing Board, is inviting licensed contractors to submit information for inclusion on the District's list(s) of qualified bidders for the 2027 calendar year. Qualified Contractors for Informal Bids: In accordance with the Public Contract Code §22034 (CA Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act), this notice requires interested licensed contractors to provide the following information: • Company Name • Contact Name and Mailing Address • Contact Telephone Number and Email Address • Type of work contractor is licensed to perform • Contractor's License Number and Classification(s) • Contractor's DIR Registration Number Resulting list will be used to obtain quotations for projects in appropriate categories up to the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting dollar limit for the 2027 calendar year. Prequalified Contractors for Formal Bids: Pursuant to Public Contract Code sections §20101 and §20651.5 (CA Local Agency Public Construction Act), this notice requires interested licensed contractors to submit a standardized questionnaire and financial statement in a form specified by the District, including a complete statement of the prospective bidder's financial ability and experience. Resulting list will be used to obtain formal bids for public works construction projects over $220,000. Trades contractors are strongly encouraged to participate in this prequalification effort. Projects will be located at the District's three campuses: Cañada College, College of San Mateo, and Skyline College. Contractor Outreach & Education Workshops: Virtual non-mandatory workshops will be offered on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., via Zoom. Community Reinvestment Act ("CRA") regulations require a bank that has developed a CRA Strategic Plan (the "Plan") to publish Notice of the Plan and solicit formal written public comment for at least a 30-day period. Western Alliance Bank (the "Bank") hereby provides notice of its intention to submit a CRA Strategic Plan to the Federal Reserve Bank (the "FRB"). Written comments from the public concerning the Plan are encouraged. NOTICE TO ALL POLICYHOLDERS, CLAIMANTS, CREDITORS, CERTIFICATE OF CONTRIBUTION HOLDERS, SHAREHOLDERS, AND ALL OTHER PERSONS OR ENTITIES INTERESTED IN CRUSADER INSURANCE COMPANY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 10, 2026, the Superior Court of the City and County of Los Angeles, California entered a Liquidation Order, in the case entitled Insurance Commissioner of the State of California v. Crusader Insurance Company, Case No. 23STCP01915 ("Liquidation Order"). Pursuant to the Liquidation Order, the California Insurance Commissioner has been appointed as the statutory Liquidator of Crusader Insurance Company ("Crusader") effect June 10, 2026. The Liquidation Order authorizes and empowers the Commissioner, through his Conservation & Liquidation Office, to liquidate Crusader and its assets for the benefit of Crusaders policyholders, claimants, creditors, and shareholders, as provided in Sections 1010 through 1062 of the Insurance Code of the State of California. The California Insurance Commissioner has retained the Conservation and Liquidation Office to handle the liquidation proceedings. A copy of the Liquidation Order can be found on the Conservation & Liquidation Office website at: www.caclo.org. A set of frequently asked questions and answers concerning the liquidation of Crusader can be found on the same website. Proof of Claim forms and instructions will be mailed to all parties believed to have a claim against Crusader Insurance Company. If you believe you have a claim and have not received a Proof of Claim form by October 1, 2026 you may request a form at: CrusaderPOC@caclo.org or by phone at (415) 676-2133. In accordance with the Liquidation Order, all Proof of Claim forms must be received by the Conservation and Liquidation Office or post-marked no later than the court approved claims bar date of March 31, 2027. The Liquidation Order contains an express finding of insolvency thereby triggering the statutory obligation of the various property and casualty insurance guaranty entities, in those states where Crusader wrote business, to begin paying covered Crusader claims up to statutory limits. The majority of Crusader's business was written in California and the open claims as of June 10, 2026 have been transferred to the California Insurance Guarantee Association ("CIGA").
