The San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority (SLDMWA) is soliciting under a Request for Qualifications and Proposals from Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) firms for the Delta-Mendota Canal Subsidence Correction Project – Phase 1, Tasks 1 through 4. This project will span multiple counties in California's Central Valley. The Phase 1 work includes an approximate 2-foot raise to correct deficient portions of the canal embankment, raising the top of the concrete canal lining to restore design capacity, and modifying associated embankment structures such as turnouts, drain inlets, and shoulder drains to accommodate the embankment and concrete lining raises. The project is intended to restore canal capacity, address the impact of subsidence on the canal's capacity, and ensure the long-term reliability of Central Valley Project water deliveries. This project is supported by a combination of local, state and federal funding.

NOTICE OF REMOVAL OF VAILLANCOURT FOUNTAIN – OPPORTUNITY FOR ORGANIZATION TO REMOVE PURSUANT TO CIVIL CODE § 989
Please take notice that the City and County of San Francisco intends to remove the Embarcadero Fountain by Armand Vaillancourt (SFAC Accession No. 1971.46) to protect the health and safety of residents and visitors from the identified structural deterioration and move it to storage. Removal of the Fountain might result in substantial physical defacement, mutilation, alteration, or destruction. An Organization, as defined by Civil Code § 989(b)(2), may remove the Fountain and pay the cost of removal. Agreement to remove the Fountain must be received within 30 days of the first day of this Notice and removal and payment must occur within 90 days of the first day of this Notice. If the Fountain is removed at the expense of an Organization, title to the Fountain shall pass to that Organization.
