Requires up to 25% US and International travel required for contract manufacturer and supplier hardware support. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to Serve Operating Co, 730 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063. Salary: $166,878 - $180,000 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer or any occupation/position/job title involving performing engineering design for robotics or high reliability products. Must also have the following special skills: 5 years of professional experience utilizing 3D CAD software including Solidworks and creating engineering drawing incorporating GD&T; 5 years of professional experience developing components for manufacturing techniques including CNC machining, additive manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, or injection molding and casting; 5 years of professional experience performing hardware development and integration, mechanical design, and prototyping; 5 years of professional experience performing development and production planning with Contract Manufacturers; 5 years of professional experience utilizing product and usability test and measurement tools; 4 years of professional experience performing wire harness and cable assembly design; and 4 years of professional experience working with Agile methodology and software tools including JIRA, Smartsheet, and G Suite.
