Responsibilities - Conduct all recruitment activities including but not limited to developing job descriptions, job posting, prescreen candidates, coordinate interview schedules, track candidate status, and provide updates to hiring manager on ongoing basis. - Develop offer letters and other new hire documents. - Work with background check vendor to complete background checks. - Create new hire profiles in the HR system and conduct new hire orientations. - Complete I-9 verifications and maintain I-9 files - Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. - Collect time worked and process periodic payrolls - Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. - Conduct audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommend corrective action. - Assists with the preparation of the performance review process. - Perform other tasks as assigned
Skills & Requirements - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and California regulations - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. - Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - Degree in human resources.
