Sealed bids will be received by Kai Ming, Inc at 934 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94103 until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 for meals to be delivered to nine (9) child care centers. At the time and place advertised, and promptly thereafter, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The request for bid is for a total of approximately 360 breakfasts, lunches, and PM snacks (inclusion of milk) to be delivered in bulk (family style) to 9 Head Start, Early Head Start, and California Department of Education funded infant, toddler, and preschool sites in San Francisco. Program center sites typically operate year-round. All meals must meet the minimum standards set by the United States Department of Agriculture for the Child and Adult Care Food Program, for meals of this type.
The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder that possesses the potential ability to perform successfully under the terms and conditions of the proposed procurement and is lowest in price. Other factors shall be given consideration when there are sound documented business reasons such as Vendor integrity, compliance with public policy, and record of past performance, and financial and technical resources.
