Notice of Application for Formation of Bank Holding Company and Acquisition of a Bank by a Bank Holding Company
Chime Financial, Inc. ("Chime"), San Francisco, California and Clocktower Merger Sub, Inc. ("Merger Sub"), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma intend to apply to the Federal Reserve Board for permission to become bank holding companies, acquire Central Service Corporation ("CSC"), Enid, Oklahoma and acquire control of Stride Bank, National Association, Enid, Oklahoma ("Stride Bank"). Merger Sub is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chime established to facilitate the transaction described below. Merger Sub has agreed to merge with and into CSC, with CSC continuing as the surviving entity in the merger (the "Proposed Transaction"). Upon consummation of the Proposed Transaction, Stride Bank will be renamed "Chime Bank, National Association." The Federal Reserve considers a number of factors in deciding whether to approve the application including the record of performance of banks we own in helping to meet local credit needs.
You are invited to submit comments in writing on this application/notice to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, P.O. The Plaintiff(s) has/have filed a Complaint with the Land Court in which you are named as an interested party. This Complaint may be examined at said Court in Boston, Massachusetts or online at www.masscourts.org. The Complaint concerns certain real property in East Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, being known as and numbered 3 Emmons Street. Plaintiff contends that title to the Property is clouded by a satisfied but improperly discharged mortgage of record. This action seeks to confirm the discharge of a prior-owner mortgage in Plaintiff's chain of title granted to Fleet Mortgage Corp., dated November 5, 1999, recorded with the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds at Book 24385, Page 308 and later re- recorded as a Confirmatory Mortgage at Book 24585, Page 78.
If you intend to make any defense, you are required to file an answer with the Land Court on or before the return day, December 7, 2026, and serve a copy upon the plaintiff's attorney, Lacey Brantley, Esq., First American Law Group, 250 First Avenue, Suite 104, Needham, MA 02494.
