Project Engineer 2 for IMEG Consultants Corp will report to our San Francisco, CA regional loc but may telecommute from within CA after 3 months of in-office employment. Presence required in the San Francisco, CA office at least 1-2 days per month. Conduct structural gravity & lateral (seismic & wind) analysis & design using ETABS, SAP 2000, & RISA software. Coordinate/communicate w/ architects, MEP engineers, & other consultants. A complete list of duties can be found on the employer’s website (https://imegcorp.com/careers/). Regularly required to lift objects up to 25 lbs. Occasionally required to kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach w/ hands or arms, & grasp or pull. May have ltd exposure to outside weather conditions & loud noises. Little local travel may be involved to job/client sites. May involve travel to IMEG’s San Francisco, CA office 1-2 times per month. Travel not to exceed 60 days/yr w/ occasional overnight stays. Wage: $155,667-$160,000. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Must have Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Architectural) or related field; 5 yrs relevant exp in the building design consulting industry; and required skills. Requires skills (5 yrs exp) in: design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in production of technical plans and specifications; applying principles in mechanics and materials, load paths, design techniques, design standards (including steel, concrete, wood, masonry) and concepts involved in structural systems of buildings and structures; BIM; MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
