Software Engineer, Replit, Inc., Foster City, CA. Responsibilities: Design a collaborative "Multiplayer Computer" that lets humans and AI agents work together; Build high-throughput backend applications and services; Create tooling that helps AI systems minimize mistakes; Develop infrastructure (frontend & backend) that empowers product engineers; Support sophisticated user interfaces; and Bridge the gap between prompt engineers and frontend engineers. Requirements: Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent and 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer. Must also possess 2 years experience: building frontend; building backend; in at least one of the following: Developing rich and complex browser-based applications, Building high-throughput and novel backend services, Creating frontend infrastructure used by 100+ engineers, or Shipping your own products and engaging directly with users; and with Typescript. Must be able to successfully complete competency-based interviews. Telecommuting permitted. In office required 3x/week (M/W/F). Only incidental domestic travel is required for this position.
