Software Support Engineer, ProteinSimple, San Jose, CA. Req. Master’s deg. in Computer Science or closely rel. fld. & 6 mos. exp. as a software customer support engr. or rel. occupation; or Bachelor’s & 2 yrs. exp. Must poss. 6 mos. (w/ a Master’s) or 2 yrs. (w/ a Bachelor’s) w/each of the following: software problem solving & analytical techniques; software architecture & data structure modeling; SDLC, Agile methodologies, Fishbone diagram, 5 Why analysis, FMEA, & root cause analysis; Windows & Linux Operating Sys.; reporting, analysis, & software mgmt. tools incl. Oracle Virtual box, Jira, Salesforce, Git, Jenkins, Zephyr, or MS Visual Studio; & debugging & developing apps with both backend & frontend software stack tools, incl.
