Sr Systems Administrator. Stanford University. Redwood City, CA. Respons for the virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) service & all related technology. May telecommute within area of intended employment at employer’s discretion & be available for in office meetings as needed. Req: Bach degree in CS, CSE or rel fld & 5 yrs of progress. post-bacc. exp as a computer programmer, systems administrator, or rel, occup in systems administration. 5 yrs exp in VMware virtualization technology, VMware Horizon View, & vSphere infrastructure. The expected pay range for this position is $148,162 to $171,100 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
